Well I went to the bus station today inbetween bludging. Found out its only 23 pound to get to Galway or Endinburgh from Belfast by bus/ferry. So I'll be dropping in there again tomorrow to go to Scotland.
My 40Gb mp3 player has no free memory and my SD camera card is just about full. So I'm not sure what to do about the storage problem. Anyways I'm goin to watch more TV then get ready for tomora. Night.

The Long Road Home
I'm in Cork, I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way back to Belfast (via Limerick, Galway and Sligo) so I can then drive-on to Scotland, by ferry.
I met a bloke in the street yesterday. Went by the name of Ian. Played the banjo he did, But that was not enough for Ian. Played the guitar with his feet he did. Rightly impressed was I. Gave him some money I did.
I went for a walk around town today, decent one. Went to go into the Cork Gaol but it was an Audio Commentary Tour. They wanted 8 Euro for it, I gotta save money to eat an all.
Dirty Water
I went out to Blarney the other day but I didn't get out till late so the castle tour was closed. I walked up the hill and managed to get a glimps of the top tower.

Kilkenny
Well its only just down the road from the bus station. I've come here from a tourist tour of a tourist-y town house. Actually its a castle. Kilkenny Castle to be exact.
I learned all about the Butler's and some stuff about queens having affairs with cousins... lame, I know.
I have to wait till 2:30 for the next bus to Cork. So i'm killing time. I was gonna pop into the local public house for a pint of Kilkenny in Kilkenny, but 3 problems came to my attention.
1. This is Ireland, the public house's are plentiful and I could not possibly favour one of another.
2. I really can't afford to spend 4 Euro at each pub in Kilkenny and
3. I don't drink Kilkenny.
Anyways, here's a couple of photos I've spotted the last few days. Seeya....
Upon closer inspection, I have only taken 1 photo over the last few days. And that was at Kilkenny castle today. ENJOY!

Oirish Bugs
I can't give you photos today but I'm going for a walk around the city today. Might try get into the Jamesons Distillery, Maybe Guinness. I hear the Kilkenny tour is better tho, I'm going that way tomora for a couple of hours then down to Cork. I brought a 3 day flexable bus pass over 8 days. I might even end up back in Belfast in a few days then head over to Scotland sooner than I thought.
Well I'm going to explore and have some fun. Till we meet again.
Same Bat-Time... Same Bat-Channel.
P.S.
"What did ya do to yer head?"

Bloody Idiots!
Well to start off, here's a couple more photos of Newcastle.
The start of the day.
And this one is the Granite Quarry with a tasty waterfall.
Not as tasty as this when I got back down!
I quite liked it there. But I took a long and sleepy bus ride to Dublin today. This is my first view of The Republic Of Ireland. All the street signs have a translation on them, at first I thought it was Zimbabwian, later found out its actually Irish. Well I've taken on the Euro pretty quickly, I have a currency converter on my mobile which makes it VERY easy.
I've been watching Big Brother UK, which is a million times better than any Australian BB that I've seen. Very funny people and even funnier tasks.
About the sunburn, It started off very painful and I thought it was gonna blister. I kept lathering it up with after sun cream and luckily its gone... Mostly.
Anywho, I gotta go check into the Marlborough Hostel now and sort out some food for din dins. I acctually cook for myself. WOOT!

Anonymousity Is King!
Sure enough I'm sunburnt again. I went for a monster trek today up a monster mountain. Only to find it wasn't even the biggest. Infact was only about 2/3 the size of the biggest. Some more photos...
I'm impressed with the last one :D ITS ME!
Anywho, I got a compass just incase the mist rolled on, luckly it didn't coz the compass is out by 1.5 degrees! What would ya expect for £2.50
Then went for a trek around the road which lead me to the next County... I was walking for a long time. But I found this cool pad which is being built. The stream from the mountain fills this man made pool. It's even attracting wild life.
Well you know these stoopid libraries, Only get an hour at a time. So I gotta go now but good chattin finally. Next post might be from south of the boarder, maybe. SU!

Raging Fires And Marchin Good Times
Then got woken up by the marching bands outside at about 8am. Got ready then went out to view the days entertainment. There were HEAPS of bands all on the march and even a few youngens...
There were TONS of bears around in the mosterous armoured cop cars. This one has a surveillance camera on top and the lights are caged over with mesh. There prepared for all sorts of trouble which often comes with the 12th Hour celebrations.
And the moment you've all been waiting for... The magical disappearing toilet.
I'm using up the rest of my internet card at the Cafe in Belfast, the new 007 Casino Royale is on DVD so I keep watching that. It's taken about 2 hours to write this post because I get distracted.
So today I'm going to Armagh on a good ol bus. The only problem is that its a little bit raining, and I've got heavy bags.
I've sussed out a budget of about £30 a day which is coincidentally the recommended amount by the lonely planet guide to here.
Well my times mostly up so I must be off. Talk to yall later.

Fire!
This link is a little bit of Irish History/Current Events. Basically it describes the disputes between the Protestant and the Catholic groups and the reasons for them. Around this time every year they have HUGE bonfires to mark the Battle of Boyne, won by the Protestant King William.
This stack is gonna be ablaze at around 10pm and there is a big march through town. I'll get more photos.
We went to the Botanic Gardens yesterday aswell, this is the Greenhouse and a pub we visited shortly after.
Anyways, Gotta get ready for the march and fire. SEEYA

Guinness... Hmmm
I was buying pints of Strongbow and today I had Magners (Cider) with blackcurrent. Yumbo! It's LOADS cheaper than scotch. And when I ask for bourbon people point to Jack Daniel's!!!(not bourbon, infact a tennessee whisky. still good.)
Anyways, you can imagine what 3 yankee's, a kiwi and a rightly pissed aussie would get up to in Belfast on a monday night. WE HAD CHINESE! And there are urinals that pop up out of the ground at night... it's amazing. I legally pissed in the street. Cops drove past and all!
Anyways, gotta get out. SU!

Diddly Diddly Dee Poh-Tay-Tos
From there work my way further south to Dublin and the Guinness factory. I'm currently researching Accom/Transport options and prices for Northern Ireland and into the Republic of Ireland. All very boring but necessary.
I didn't get up till about 1:00pm today and then had Subway for lunch. I wanted to print of a picture, So I went into a net cafe. Was on the computer for less than 3 minutes and printed 1 piece of paper. It cost me £1.20!
Anyways, more research to be done and then more drinking to be done! SEEYA!

Back To London?
I got to thinkin'... I wouldn't ming seeing Dublin and the rest of Ireland. Then I saw a sign on a bus stand which said, "£8 Return to Dublin from Belfast. AND THEN on that said "Glasgow or Edinburgh Return for £19."
I'm thinkin' I might just not fly back to London, See Southern Ireland, Go to Edinburgh and head south from there.
Anyway's, more photos from today.
City Hall and the cranes that built the Titanic.
Seeya.
