The Long Road Here

Well I suppose I better let everyone know how I got here. From Perth Airport in Western Australia, I left on a KLM flight at about 4:30pm bound for Kuala Lumpur. The "Interactive In-Flight Entertainment" was swish! I got photos but I forgot to bring my camera card so I can't show you. I watched Happy Feet, Norbit and a TV program about science and modern tek. Meals were pretty decent serves and regular too. When we got to KL i was looking out the window before we landed and saw all the stree lights and cars going around. The streets look like someone threw spaghetti on a plate. I barely had time for a shit when I got off the plane. I didn't manage to get an souvenirs either :( On the long haul to Amsterdam there was only a crappy tv at the front of the cabin so i could hardly see the movie, Not that i wanted to watch it anyways. Sleep is good but hard on a plane. It was about 6am Monday when we got to Amsterdam, cozy and cool. I thought the lady at Perth Airport said i would have to re-check my baggage in at Amsterdam so I went to the Luggage collection area only to find out that my bag wasn't there. Then i had to go ALL THE WAY AROUND and check in again, go through customs again, and find the right terminal... Again. After that I had pleanty of time to look around buy a couple of things in Euro. I even had a bourbon and cola. Got chatting to an American guy (with a lazy eye) at the bar. He was plastered but you could hardly tell. Exept the fact he kept saying "I'm trying to write myself off". Quick flight to London and I was happy as a pig in shit. Until I couldn't find the piece of paper i needed to get transfer to the YHA and the 2 nights accomodation that was booked for me! I had to catch the Tube to Paddington Station where i had a nice warm shower for the first time since Saturday. Surprisingly i lasted the whole day all right without too much jetlag, then Tuesday came around and bit me on the ass. So yeah thats pretty much my story so far. I type this post from an internet cafe at Charing Cross Underground. Watch this space.... <--so lame! Rusty
